Shin Dae-chul, the lead guitarist of the South Korean band Sinawe, and 11 other Korean musicians have sent a message of solidarity to the pro-democracy activists in Burma with the new collaborative song “Starlight.” Shin explained that he and the other musicians dedicated this song to the pro-democracy movements in Burma because “…I could feel how many of us strongly related what’s happening in Myanmar to our own modern history (in Korea).”
