The World Movement’s Eighth Assembly Report is now online!

View our reports of over 50 practical workshops focusing on regional and thematic challenges confronting activists around the world. The individual workshop report provides an in-depth, insightful analysis of major international and global issues, as well as recommendations for how individuals and organizations can build sustainable solutions. Some of the key matters addressed include combating resurgent authoritarianism, corporate citizenship, youth mobilization, digital threats against civil society, deepening women’s political participation, and LGBTI rights.

The Assembly of the World Movement for Democracy was held in Seoul, Korea, on November 1-4, 2015. More than 400 democracy activists, practitioners, scholars, and donors from more than 100 countries traveled to Seoul to attend the event.
