The World Movement congratulates our Steering Committee member Tamara Adrián of Venezuela for being recognized as an International Human Rights Champion by the Parliament of Canada. Ms. Adrián was the first transgender person elected to the Venezuelan National Assembly and has tirelessly advocated for human rights and LGBTQ+ rights in Venezuela and Latin America for decades.
