According to Unlock Nigeria Network, a participating organization in the World Movement for Democracy, the Niger Delta community of Kula may soon descend into violence. The leaderships of the community’s clans are engaged in a dispute over how to share the oil revenues that have accrued. The Unlock Nigeria Network is trying to alert the Rivers State Government and the Police Command to the situation so that they may intervene and prevent armed conflict. Read more.
