Technology Case Studies for Human Rights Groups
The group New Tactics In Human Rights has released a new collection of case studies to help human rights groups see how technology can help them advance their mission. The tactics highlighted in these case studies are chosen to show how they can be implemented without bursting a nonprofit’s budget, but still be effective. The collection is organized around three types of tactics:
- Social media tactics
- Mobile phone tactics
- Other technology (such as ad campaigns and video)
New Tactics in Human Rights also offers a library of hundreds of other case studies of tactics used by human rights organizations, available in over 20 languages.
