The Community of Democracies held its Seventh Ministerial Conference on April 27 to 29 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. World Movement Steering Committee member (U.S.) Carl Gershman, senior director Art Kaufman, and many World Movement participants attended. In addition to the inter-ministerial meeting, the gathering also featured meetings of the following five pillars: Civil Society, Business, Parliamentarians, Women, and Youth. The Youth Forum presented a video message (above) that was produced by several youth initiatives, including the World Youth Movement for Democracy (WYMD), affiliated with the World Movement. The Ministerial Conference concluded with the distribution of the Ulaanbaatar Declaration, which was complemented by declarations issued by each of the five pillars, available here.
