The Center for the Study of Islam & Democracy (CSID) has published its recent news bulletin on democracy in the Arab/Muslim world.
Established in 1999, CSID is dedicated to the study and promotion of Islamic and democratic reforms in the Muslim world, connecting Islamic values with principles of freedom and participation. CSID brings together academics, scholars, and activists to analyze political developments in the Muslim world, and to identify ways to advance freedom, justice, and democracy in Muslim countries. CSID seeks to improve and promote dialogue, tolerance, and mutual understanding between countries divided by custom, culture, and politics.
Our Steering Committee member, Radwan A. Masmoudi of Tunisia, is the Founder and President of the CSID.
