Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) has launched a COVID-19 initiative called the Parliamentarians Rapid Response Team (PARRT). PARRT is a new team of pro-democracy legislators from around the world that monitors repressive regimes and intervenes when parliamentarians and human rights defenders are personally at risk. The PGA is well positioned to provide impactful help, since its memberships includes parliamentarians from 136 countries.
