The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights released a summary of its recent report on how to improve civil society’s engagement with international and regional organizations. The report combined input from civil society and different UN entities to outline a “3 P’s” system, which includes the following:

• Ensure equal and inclusive civil society participation in the work of the UN and access to information
• Promote civic space, including in national decision-making processes
• Protect civil society actors at risk and from online and offline attacks.
