On May 30, 2016, Tavaana: E-Learning Institute for Iranian Civil Society launched their free online course, “The Politics of Inclusion & Minority Rights in Democracies.” The course is designed for civic leaders, human rights defenders, and academics interested in practicing inclusive egalitarianism for a democratic republic.

 

Tavaana has long been on the forefront of civic education with their LGBT Rights Advocacy course that is designed to promote dialogue about LGBT rights in Iran through their social media platforms, webinars, and panel discussions. Students describe their experiences with Tavaana’s courses as inspiring, and proclaim that after the course, they are now ready to advocate “for my community and my rights.” Celebrate International PRIDE Month this June by sharing, or enrolling in Tavaana’s course on LGBT Rights Advocacy!
