In his new report, UN Special Rapporteur on the rights to freedom of peaceful assembly and association Clement Voule answers this question and celebrates the role women and girls have played in advancing human rights and social change. To further this discussion, Mr. Voule will be hosting an online side-event, where a panel of female civil-society leaders will talk about his report on this theme’s findings.
