FORUM ASIA spoke with Yevgeniy Zhovtis, the Director of Kazakhstan International Bureau for Human Rights and the Rule of Law (KIBHR), about his career as a human rights activist. In this interview, Zhovtis discusses how the fall of the USSR inspired him to devote himself to advocating for human rights and create the Kazakhstan International Bureau for Human Rights and the Rule of Law (KIBHR). Zhovtis is a former World Movement Steering Committee Member.
