The Egyptian Center for Public Policy Studies (ECPPS) recently organized a successful conference to improve the environment governing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Egypt.
Titled “Governorates Performance Index: Empowering SMEs in Egypt,” the meeting aimed to bring together relevant participants from business, government, and NGOs, as well as national and international organizations, in order to build consensus around policies for a stable and prosperous investment climate in Egypt. ECPPS also promoted its recently launched GPIndex, a resource for entrepreneurs and policy makers to find data on SMEs in Egypt and identify opportunities for improving their projects.
