Call For Submissions: Open Government Partnership

Representatives from governments, academia, civil society and international organizations will gather at the annual Open Government Partnership Global Summit 2016 which will take place in Paris, France on December 7-9. The Open Government Partnership (OGP) is a multilateral initiative, which currently brings together 69 member states, non-governmental organizations, and representatives from civil society in a collegial governance.

The OGP Global Summit 2016 serves as an opportunity to share the best practices in reforming governments worldwide. Open Government Partnership Global Summit 2016 will focus on transparency; its agenda will be announced in September, and include proposals submitted by citizens who are using data to help governments run more efficiently.

Interested participants can register online and submit their proposal about data transparency here. The deadline for registering is June 27, 2016, but proposals will be accepted until July 27, 2016. Submissions should be initiatives made possible with OGP processes, National Action Plans, or through the theme of transparency.
