This month, the Asia Democracy Network (ADN) announced the launch of the Asia Democracy Academy Program, an educational program designed to prepare a rising generation of democracy advocates to undertake challenges currently facing the region. “To start out the program, ADN will conduct a series of focus group discussions with stakeholders from across the region. The objectives are to develop the curriculum, structure of training methods and tools, map potential partner countries and organizations within the region for the pilot project to be implemented.” Throughout this process, the ADN is welcoming input from member organizations, as well as interested human rights and democracy activists.
