The Center for International Media Assistance (CIMA) recently interviewed the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) partner and journalist, Muntathar Nasser, about his role in the recent Panama Papers investigation. Nasser is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Iraqi independent, NED-funded, online daily newspaper, al-Aalem al-Jadid. Nasser’s work in the Panama Papers investigation exposed the business pursuits of the former Iraqi Prime Minister, Ayad Allawi.
