World Movement Participants Testify on Human Rights Around the World

In solidarity with activists around the world, El Centro para la Apertura y el Desarrollo de América Latina (CADAL) interviewed human rights activists at the World Movement’s Ninth Global Assembly on the state of human rights and civic space in their respective countries. One of the activists, Hoi Trinh, a human rights defender from Vietnam, notes that he has been forced to live in exile for ten years due to the repressive environment in his country and calls for international awareness of the lack of civic space in Vietnam.
