Online Course: The Right to Receive Funding in Africa

The Civic Space Institute (CSI) is pleased to announce the launch of an online course on understanding and protecting civil society’s right to access resources from both domestic and foreign sources. The eight-week long course is offered to civil society organization leaders, activists, practitioners, academics, and other interested individuals based in Africa. Participants will be exposed to a variety of international norms and principles, including treaties, conventions, declarations, and national constitutions and laws that guarantee the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association.
