Freedom House published a new report “Democracy Under Lockdown” that analyses the impact COVID-19 has had on democratic institutions from January to August 2020. They surveyed 398 journalists, civil society workers, activists, and other experts, and conducted research in 192 countries to provide extensive research on the condition of democracy around the world.
