REDLAD and the World Movement for Democracy have begun an online video series called “Civic Tornados” that discusses the challenges of maintaining civic space and defending the freedoms of civil society during the COVID pandemic. Discussions will include topics such as approaches to citizen action during lockdown, and the consequences of restrictive government responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, REDLAD has created a series of infographics about civil society during COVID, which can be viewed here.
