The National Democratic Institute (NDI) recently released their “Youth Political Participation Programming Guide” and “Change My Community Toolbox.” The guide includes “lessons from the field” that highlight the experiences of youth leaders in Kosovo and Jordan, as well as examples of how advocates can empower youth agency. It also highlights ways activists can work with political leadership to foster a more enabling environment for young people. Youth activists working to enact change in their local communities can use the toolbox’s planning strategies to organize and execute campaigns. Are you a youth leader with a useful resource that should be featured in NDI’s toolbox? Submit your suggestion here.
